Linus leaving NCIX?

When Linus left his job at NCIX as a product manager, he signed a 2 year contract to continue making youtube videos for the NCIXcom channel.

 

As stated on the WAN show, Linus' 2 year contract with NCIX is almost over.

Linus is going to meet up with NCIX this weekend to decide if he is completely leaving or will continue to be a part of their videos.

 

What are your thoughts on this?

Do you want Linus to leave?

He left as an employee but goes back to do videos with some of the employees, like Netlinked and whatnot.

He still has a contract with them and he does a few product videos and the Friday daily tech news on their channel. Although that contract is nearly up and it's yet to be negotiated whether he will continue doing "freelance" work for them or not.

He left the product manager job. He still was making videos for them every week.

Nvidia is to Dr Dre Beets as AMD is to KFC.

Linus is the only reason I watch ncix videos. Actually, I only watch the ncix videos hosted by him.

Good to know! I think there are a lot of people who are just like you, only there for Linus.

I don't really watch every single product video on their channel but I do watch their daily news pretty often.

It's up to him to decide, I'd understand if he can't anymore, now that LMG is putting up videos daily. That takes a lot of work :P

I wonder how much of Linus' time NCIX videos take up. And whether or not that time would be worth spending on LMG

Most of their news is ripped directly off this forum here. I don't really mind that too much, but since i've started reading the forums the news on their channel is a bit... redundant. I pretty much only watch video's about the products I remotely care about now.

Linus Sebastian, a former NCIX product manager, hosted NCIX's YouTube channel,featuring several artifacts, including reviews, and performance test videos. Esther Whoalso promotes NCIX via videos. Linus also has a personal channel called "LinusTechTips" and is sponsored by NCIX. As of 2013, Linus left NCIX to start his own company, Linus Media Group, centered around his YouTube channel. He is still sponsored by NCIX and he occasionally hosts Netlinked Daily along with various other videos.

He's very stable with LMG imo, meanwhile ncix lost almost 90% viewers after Linus left, it'd be good to see him working as an independent contract, instead of him being tied to the old company & get leeched,  If he does decide to leave, crazy russian is really going to be crazy...#SWAG4LYFE
