I would build laptop with 21:9 screen with 2x R9 295x2. By fliping it upside down while runing Futuremark it would also serve as an portable ironing board.

What I have now (Elitebook 840 G1) + a Maxwell GPU. That's really all I want. There's lots of space left in here and adequate cooling, I'm sure if HP wanted to they could pull off an 850M in this. Also a 1080p panel but that's not really a "dream" cause if I wasn't being stupid I would have configured it with one.

Same, except the montior would be hot-swappable. For either a vertical display, a 21:9 display or a normal 16:9 display.

I'd prefer a desktop, but I need a laptop too for running FSX over the network. It would be something like this:

i5-4308U (2 cores + HT) 2.8-3.3GHz w/ Intel Iris 5100 Graphics

GTX 970M

17.3" 1440p screen

8GB RAM (2x4 DDR3L)

128GB mSATA SSD

1TB WD Black 7200 rpm drive

HM87 chipset
