"The Penetrator" a watercooled FT05

spwath

Damn. All I can say is those fittings! Monsoon I assume? they definitely fit in with the whole colour scheme of the build.

yup, they look really nice.

I thought shiny blue fittings would accent shiny black tubing nicely.

Came in nice box, with nice little fitting tool, and were not as expensive as i thought they would be.

One thing, this computer is really heavy now, and i had to carry it downstairs and outside for pics.

I geuss that is waht filling it with water and large radiator does

Very nice, makes it a lot better showing everything off clearly. I may need to get some myself for when I finish branwen if it'll make it look that much clearer, especially with the rather reflective window

Yeah. Made me see all the scratches and dust inside my window though.

I just cant beleive they were only $1.32 each

Now that's a good deal, I'm rather jealous. I think maplins are the cheapest I can get an LED strip, but I'd probably need to solder it myself. The NZXT sleeved led strip is my next best bet however.

Bottom, close as possible to window panel, and at the top, behind the lip

Yeah, the top was where I was planning on running them, and depending on how much room between the side panel and the hstsink, on the front of it.

I reckon some USB strips stuck to the underside would give it an epic underglow.

Huh, for only a buck that isn't bad.

LEDs are just so cheap though. The nicest led strips out there are the darkside LEDs, and they're only 15 bucks

Also RGB darkside strips are only 18 bucks

Edit: plus controller, my bad

Bought a powermac G5, expect a mod log sometime in 2015

Corsair is overrated, and Anime is ruined by the people who watch it

This may be the only CUSTOM WATERCOOLED FT05

I really appreciate seeing this thread.  I have a custom watercooled FT01 that I was considering upgrading to a new case and the FT05 came across my mind since I already have 180mm radiators to work with.  But now that I've seen an FT05 water cooled, I probably wouldn't do it given the FT01 is probably a better case for water cooling (never thought in a million years I'd type out that sentence).
