Why are some people so infatuated with blue eyes?

Half the people I know have blue eyes, including myself. How is it rare?

I think for me their eye colour really stands out if it contrasts with their hair. I have a friend who have black hair but bright blue eyes and I can happily admit they are extremely stunning. I like a fusion colour of sorts. Someone I know has Hazel around their pupil and it slowly turns to blue the further out it gets. That really makes me go "Dayum gurl"

I have brown eyes as well, as well as my sisters, my mom is blonde and with blue eyes and always complains that none out of the 3 of us has blue eyes :P

 

I wish I had Heterochromia, it looks so cool :I

It really does. + Some huskies have it and they are the coolest dogs

 

Would've been cool if there was homochromia too. RAINBOW EYES  B)

My mom's aunt has it, Blue/green. The difference is barely noticeable to be honest, but yeah, I'm Jelly :P

It's preference. I prefer girls with blue or green eyes. They just have more depth to them and I find myself getting lost in them much more easily (especially if they're attractive as well).

Strangely enough we did a project about this in biology so long ago. (Eye color probability) 

I still have pictures of my eye from it. Google auto backup...

i do and i have green actualy i can be out for over 8 hours with no pain or anything sailing with no sun galsses

I don't have any decent camera,so here is a random picture but mine has a waaaaaay lot less brown than that in the picture (As in unnoticeable unless stared at closely for few seconds)
