The game that reminds me the most of my childhood is probably Spyro 2: Gateway to Glimmer. I don't know why...

I played a ton of Super Metroid and Castlevania Symphony of the Night as a kid. They've completely lost their nostalgia from how much I still play them haha. For Super Metroid I've even gone so far as to get a SNES mini and solder on an RGB amplifier so I could get the best video quality I could out of it. Crazy how much of a difference straight RGB video out is over composite!

Final Fantasy XI, hands down. The truly sad part is, that game has changed SO much (and deviated so much from what made it great) that one might say it's impossible to go back and play that game again. The current version is almost a different game. :/
