Hi guys. I've said on a few posts of mine that I'd be moving to university, and today I made the move to my new room. Everything has been okay; my family helped me unpack and I was really sad to leave them. But I've got a flatmate next door to me who hasn't bothered introducing themselves and is currently playing terrible gangster music with the bass up to 112903490348230911, being generally rowdy with friends he invited without letting my other flatmate and I know, and I think he's smoking weed in there too... I can smell it in the hallway. 

 

I've rung the helpline of my halls of residence and they have noted it also telling me it's illegal to be smoking weed. I am going to wait until tomorrow to try and introduce myself but he seems like the sterotypical suburban London chav (I hate to generalise, I haven't met him but it's pretty easy to tell from the noise next door). If that doesn't go well then I can ring security which seems like a dick move, but spending a year with that guy next door is intolerable. I know it's stupid but it's really unsettling me - having just left my family and acclimatising to living on my own, I'm quite nervous.

 

I just want to have a conversation to take my mind off things.

I haven't done crap, except waste 20$ on CSGO.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

That sucks... I don't think he'll last very long sounds like either his parents are rich or he somehow got there from some magical wizardry from hogwarts.

Got a mail that says I'll be getting my new monitor on Wedensday.

Don't worry about it. Many a university student has smoked weed at some point in his career. I'm a med student and even I know of many of my colleagues that they've done it at least once. It doesn't really appeal to me though. Smoking cigarettes that smell like toner isn't my thing. Just talk to him later and see what he has to say. Anyway, moving to university is a big change in your life but it'll turn out to go its course. Just do your best and the results will come. I helped my sister move her stuff to her dorm today. I didn't have to do that for myself as I'm an intern in a hospital now, so no residence in Leuven this year.

I've no idea why the world is afraid of 3D-printed guns when clearly 3D-printed crossbows would be more practical for now.

The second the teachers get the slightest hint of him smoking weed he'll be out of there. And possibly in court

Mostly played games. Haven't done that in ages. And then i cleaned my apartment.

Well i did homework, then i started playing CS:GO and then my mom go mad and i had to get off and now im banned for 47 more hours.  Um i just realized i have more homework....crap

 

I think what you should do i get some bigger speakers and just put them up against the wall and JAM some really gay music and then yea... i dont know i think that would be funny

I can outplay him! I have a MASSIVE stereo capable of getting louder than his, but I'm not that guy. See my first build in my sig for a picture of the stereo :)

Was using hardware from 2008, thought it would be appropriate. I had 3 keys too.
