Fair enough its brand new, so there has to be a price drop. And when AMD flagships come out, perhaps another price cut CPU: Intel I5-4690k (stock) Motherboard: Asus B85 Pro gamer RAM: 2x4 - GB Avexir kit (xmp is not enabled) GPU: XFX R9 280X DD Case: Coolermaster Storm Enforcer Storage: Samsung 850 EVO 250GB, Seagate Barracuda 1TB, WD 250GB PSU: Thermaltake Smartpower 750w Monitor: BenQ RL2455HM Cooling: 200mm front intake, 200mm top exhaust, 200mm rear exhaust Keyboard: Corsair Vengeance K70 Mouse: Logitech G502 Proteus Core Sound: Kingston HyperX Clouds and Logitech Speakers Operating System: Windows 10 64bit
 Posted September 19, 2014 FYI, they are all over the place, evga.com, newegg, amazon, both 970s and 980s, superclocked as well as reference clocked. I don't remember the 780 being a hard launch like this, refreshing, of course I may have been sleeping when they launched and then sold out . Posted September 19, 2014 performance wise the 980 is basically the same as 780ti as shown in the video.... in other words a 780ti with 4 GB of VRAM. quite dissapointed . considering the price i would stick with the 780 and 780 ti and if u have it already go sli. the performance increase of 5-7 fps is not enough for the money. thats my opinion... #nofanboy AMD Rig - (Upgraded): FX 8320 @ 4.8 Ghz, Corsair H100i GTX, ROG Crosshair V Formula, Ghz, 16 GB 1866 Mhz Ram, Msi R9 280x Gaming 3G @ 1150 Mhz, Samsung 850 Evo 250 GB, Win 10 Home (My first Intel + Nvidia experience - recently bought ) : MSI GT72S Dominator Pro G ( i7 6820HK, 16 GB RAM, 980M SLI, GSync, 1080p , 2x128 GB SSD + 1TB HDD...
