I see this kind of stuff ALL OF THE TIME.
This is just the last one I saw, on the PCMR subreddit.

Is this really typical EA support? I mean I see it WAY to much, at least a few examples a day.

Did you see this while scrolling through Imgur? Haha.

Didn't see your text above the picture. Nevermind.

I did however, see it on Imgur before I noticed it on /r/pcmasterrace. I think this is just one of a cases like this if it's a real conversation.

Come forth EA support evangelists, tell me more about how Steam support sucks.

I do fold that I've seen more horror stories from Valve, a lot more, this isn't a horror story more than a case of encountering an unhelpful rep.

I mentioned that cause it seems like BS just from that. If it went on long enough it would have escalated to 10-11 hours.

Contact them again and file an official complaint. You have all the evidence you need to complain, and you might even get a discount voucher off ea for it (I had a problem and got like 10%, which can only be used on games older than (something) and not already on sale, but it's still better than nothing) .

This is not mine, just an example of the trend I've been seeing.

Oh sorry. Too early in the morning :( still, it's valid for anyone who does have issues with ea support.

This recent month it's happening again. It's like the sim city shit all over again quality of support wise

This crap happened to multiple people. They threatened the loss of their orgin accounts with the games they purchased if they filed for their money back under consumer protection laws.

Excuse my language, these fucking foreign workers shouldn't be allowed to represent any company in customer service. Clearly English isn't his native language...

This is just pathetic. All the more reason to not purchase any products from EA. It's pretty obvious they're hiring foreign CS reps in order to cut costs.

Gotta love it. $$$$$$$$greeeeeeed!!!!!

I've been playing EA games since I was 2, I've always seemed to have figured out my own problems (its better to reach out to the community for help rather than someone who is a employee)

The reason he couldn't play was probably because he didn't reload his games/ do other things I don't want to write.

Unless your contacting En Masse Support you wont be getting any decent quality support any where.

At least you can get a refund within 24hrs right now in Canada at least, I would say better than steam but they are both in different situations.

These support things all seem made up

I have contacted EA support a few times and they have been great, once my Old copy of mass effect did not register on origin (I had the box copy) I spoke to the guy and within a few minutes he gave me a free origin digital copy and said "enjoy the game"

This was at least a year ago too, so its not just a recent thing.

I have contacted them a few times wish issues and never had any bad service.. sure its a last resort but I have never just been fobbed off or told random shit
