Nice! I need a better watercooling setup so I can get frequencies like you on the processor.

Wonder how people got like 18K graphics score on much lower GPU clocks. Is my CPU the limiting factor even in the graphics tests?

17.6K Standard LN2 BIOS iirc.

This was with 9000 memory clock. Reported wrong though. (Absolutely raked XD)

Pumping memory can give a good gain. But core clocks are even better from what i find.

Hmm, i just find benchmarks so irrelevant as it comes to real gaming.

its like bragging about horsepower at the crank with cars instead of talking about how much horsepower actually gets to the ground and how it is transferred to the ground to create forward motion.

I think this thread is more about how individuals system configurations can and will work in the real world. A very helpful tool for people looking at building or buying so they can literally benchmark what they may achieve and either manage their exceptions, or simply re evaluate. Very handy for those looking in to VR gaming and the requirements for this new and exciting way to play!

I'm sure your view would be different if your computer had some horsepower.  :D

It's more than bragging.  Just as I modify my car so that I can put more power down at the tires, I modify my PC so it can put out more FPS or encode faster.  Benchmarking just allows me the means to measuring those improvement.  Benchmarks are the PC's dyno.

Benchmarking exists because people naturally like to compete; and with PC's, benchmarks are the only equal playing field with which to compete on. Ya, benchmarks don't necessarily line up with real-world performance, but they give a damn good impression of the potential real world performance that different setups have.

Also, this really isn't the thread to express your dislike for benchmarks. This is where everyone posts their 3DMark scores...

it's alright :) if i roll back driver and use xoc bios the GPU could go a bit faster.

CPU isn't too bad.

I can get my 5820k to run 19k at 4.82, but it runs pretty hot.  I usually just let it do it's thing at 4.75, which seems to be a much better comfort zone for it.

Funny that someone actually came to one of the benchmark threads specifically to bitch about benchmarks....O.o

why are you people behaving like children? They are just benchmarks, i am not expressing like or dislike, i just stated my opinion take it or leave it,

Cant i do that now? cant i say what i feel without getting victimized? am i going to get flamed now and called retarded for expressing my opinion?
