The case is like 7-8 years old, but inside it, everything is 2 years old, except the graphics card, which is 3.

Also the keyboard is 10 years old. PS2 keyboard, but works better than my wireless keyboard which does not hold charge anymore.

These are the specs of my ultra powerful gaming pc; (lolz its not ultra powerful)

Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3V MOBO
Core i3-3220 CPU
WD Caviar Blue SATA 3.0 1TB HDD
AMD HD6570 GPU (from Sapphire)
ASUS Chassis case, it says that on the side panel, i dont know its model number.

I couldnt find any image of the case. Even ASUS doesn't have it on their site, i think.

I also have an old HDD from probably around 2007 or so. It was my boot drive in my Core 2 Duo/8800GT build, to give you some perspective. I don't use it for much at this point, just some blu-ray rips and such that I could get again if I needed to.

Saving up to upgrade early next year, gotta pay off some debt. It came from my dads old gaming machine... its either 5-6 years old if i remember correctly. I am sure its bottlenecking the system!

The oldest part of my build right now (if you don't count the wlan attenna or the chair I set in) would be the dell 1366x768 monitor, which should be from 2010 or 2011 iirc. If you don't count that, then it would be a toss up between the scratch disks (most from core 2 laptops, one from my elitebook) or the spare/secondary/cuda gtx480.

Yep it functions to an extent, I think the power supply is screwed on it, bunch of swelled up capacitors.

Nothing a soldering iron and some caps can't fix. Neat that it functions though.

That might Make it a little more difficult. Is there a model number for the supply itself? You may be able to get a replacement easier than fixing the old one (or at least get the cap models)

My PC has an Auzentech Bravura that's not supported under Windows 8. I should remove it but I'm lazy. Also I'm rocking an OCZ Vertex 2 120gb, so that's nice. Don't know that it's any older than my P8P67 Pro or my 2500k but it's certainly aging.

Oh, I also have one of the older 1TB WD Black drives in my RAID0 of 1TB's. One is a less-old FAEX variety but the other is the FALS1001 or whatever, anyway, it's 5-6 years old.

My whole system is plain old; it's quite amazing that all components still work. I have only added 1 GB of DDR-133 RAM and that's it. Everything else is just as it was 10 years ago when it was bought on June 13th 2004. I have a DELL Dimension 4600i... I guess I have the oldest system here.

Specs:

  • DELL motherboard socket 478
  • Integrated Intel Extreme graphics with 96 MB of VRAM
  • 1,5 GB DDR-133 RAM
  • 120 GB Maxtor HDD (IDE)
  • Intel Pentium 4 Northwood (1 core, 2 theads) @3.06 GHz
  • OS: Windows XP Home Edition SP3
  • DVD drive
  • CD drive
  • Floppy disk drive

Hope this is old enough B)

Grtz,

MrViresh
