What's the Oldest Hardware in Your System right now?

No, just no. Have you no computer nostalgia? You have some serious fucking issues, young motherfucker.

Did you read the thread title you hound, it's not what you have owned but what you currently do.

i bet half the posts in this thread are BS.

Because I'm using a laptop as my primary system, everything is the same age. However, what I use with it (such as the external peripherals and monitor) are of different ages. In my case, the oldest part is my keyboard which is a 14 year old Apple Pro Keyboard.

I have no signature. There is nothing to see here. Move along.

well I have a cherry MX board with a PS/2 so it exists, you have to use an adapter for USB.

PS/2 to USB adapters don't count, silly. :P

I'm pretty sure I saw this EXACT same piece of dust in a photo from the 1800's. I could be wrong.

I am going to have to go with the keyboard, which is perhaps 8 years old.  It actually works pretty well still, but I want to upgrade to a mechanical keyboard soon.

Inside the case, it would have to be a few of the SATA cables :P.  They were from my previous computer (7 years old).
