What is the best free word processor right now? I am currently using open office, but I was wondering if there is anything out there that beats it to a pulp. Thank you all in advance ^^

Either Libre or Open Office for desktop use or Google Docs if you like to use the Google services.

Libre Office hands down.  Use it on all of the distro's I run.

It's clearly all about Notepad++ :P

But Libre Office and Open Office a both good options for Linux and Windows alike, and Google Docs is a good choice as well.

it has automatic saving to cloud and multiple people can work on the document at once also i like the lay out more but admittedly that just personal preference
