I was watching one of carey holzmans videos, and he said why not have a drive through pc shop so you can eat the silica and velvet bags that say do not eat? He was joking, but why not actually have a PC shop where you just drive through, get the parts, and go. Usually when I go to microcenter there are tons of lines and people taking forever to choose PC parts. But with a drive through, you would have to know WHAT you wanted, and you could get it easily, saving time.  This would also solve the problem of people deciding to order over the internet instead of doing it in person. The only advantage in person has right now, is you dont have to wait a couple days, and microcenter in specific, gives good deals on some of their parts, as an in store pickup only,

What do you think?

Imagine shoving a 900D through the window towards the person.

Imagine fitting a 900D in the front of a car.

Have you never been in a drive through?

Nobody knows what they want, it's just faster to go inside

This is what I usually do when I go to NCIX. I make sure the parts are in stock online, drive to the store, tell them what I want and pay for it, they hand it to me and I leave. 2 mins tops :P

The thing is. If they had a drive through, they wouldnt have a menu or any shit. You would have to know what you want, and either bring some sort of a list, or just say it all verbally.

It won't fly... At least, not where I live...

But try doing something like a 'set-meals' menu but instead of meals, they're prebuilts under your brand...

Imagine fitting a 900D in the front of a car.

I can fit at least two of them.

I thought about that, but most pc parts aren't that big. IE CPU,mobo, etc.

Very true, just poking fun. I would love to see a few of these pop up.

Comes back* I WANT A REFUND, I DIDNT GET WHAT I WANTED.

In an obnoxious salesperson voice

"I'm sorry sir. All sales made via the drive through window are final and cannot be refunded. It's in the fine print (4px TNR) on the menu board. Would you like a replacement equivalent product?"

*Points to stock Intel LGA1150 cooler*

This (the refund and replacement) is what happens in some of the shops where I live, that's why I always check the item while in the store to see if there are any problems and confront them before I hand over my money... And this is why a driver through PC store won't work...

Isn't buying from web and picking up just that? If you have ever worked in (or seen) fast food place, you know that they have all the things your food is made in very close range. Now think about how much space storing even 1 per of most commons PC cases, mobos etc would take. So basicly this would be possible. But you'd have to wait long time to get your things. Hence queues in computer store pickup desks too.
