Games you thought would be good but ended up sucking...

CyanOG

For me it has to be the new Need for Speed Most Wanted.. The story is extremely disappointing if there even is one... the world is very boring and there is generally nothing to do in the game other than crash cars not to mention the game being very easy and short to beat. One plus is that the cars do drive nice.

Who can agree with me and share their games

BF4. Need I say more?

I actually couldn't underclock my 5 year old GPU to make it as slow as a next-gen console.

well back in 2008, you would need a powerful machine to run it, when i first played it, i had a 64 x2 and a hd5450 and 2gb of ddr2 ram and i got 20 fps or less in the lowest settings.

Elder Scrolls Online. At first I was like OMG AMAZING! Then I got to beta test it, and man was it bad. I decided to hold my opinions until the game was finally out. I was invited back to several betas after that and nothing much was improved. Then there was a membership fee! Ontop of 60 bucks for the base game! So I never played the final version, and probably wont.

Magic 2015 is probably the one I got burned on the most. Any game I buy I play enough to end up enjoying, but M2015 is just so bad.

It is qualified to be one of the worst ports to PC. People get less lag from explosions than anything else, and high end computers can hardly handle a stable 60fps.

Honestly I can't think of a game that I thought would be good and ended up sucking.  I have the problem more often where I suck at games and therefore they are not as fun because of this.

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

Revenge of the Sith on PS2... It sucked... Especially the boss battles which simply ended in a cycle of block, dodge, force grab then attack... You can finish the game without using the special moves for crying out loud...

Archeage, until I realized halfway into the second closed beta that the labor system basically forced free players to be on all the time in order to gather labor, and for all of it's "oooh create a class marketing" only about 15-20 out of the 120 are actually viable, and the ridiculous notion that a game so focused on PvP would have such a boring tab-targeting combat system with very little PvE content.

8320 at 4.4Ghz and a HD 7950 with a 23% overclock and I get 32 fps when driving in a busy area with everything maxed and iCEnhancer. Still looks kinda poopy sometimes but at least it does seem to load up all the core, although it pins one at 100%. The map itself is really realistic though with people and cars everywhere. Haven't finished it yet but so far it's pretty enjoyable for me.

Star Wars Force Unleashed

Playing a way overpowered character mindlessly slaughtering hordes and hordes of feeble opponents with bad AI. Not satisfying.
