The thing for alot of people though, (I think), is that pulling a cable through the hallway, or through your wall, is not an option.

I started using Linux on and off since Grade 6 when I installed Ubuntu on my acer aspire netbook.

Linux is easy enough for a 11 year old to dual boot

That internal sound cards have more noise and interference than their external counterparts.

Some "audiophiles" insist that external DACs are the holy grail due to lower interference. So far, no scientific studies has shown or demonstrated any data to correlate this belief.

 

I would go into more detail, but I don't want to offend any external DAC users...

PC gamers smell bad. The german TV channel RTL said that. They got a lot of bad feedback :D

Nvidia GPU and Intel CPU makes the computer run better than with any AMD GPU/AMD CPU.
That $200 laptop outperforms the $1000 built desktop.

All good computers for gaming cost $1000+

that's actually true.

Windows 8.1 has newer versions of DirectX and has a lot of efficiency boosts compared to 7

entry level graphics card with more ram (1gb vs 2gb) has twice the performance speed
