What kind of music do you listen to? Do you like a lot of bass, or do you want to stay far away from it? What are you using the mic for? These sort of things.

I am just looking for a great all around headphone. I listen to everything, I also want to game with them so a mic would be nice to talk to friends online.

Well I'm going to start listing some good options.

 

Closed: Beyerdynamic DT770, V-Moda M100, or Shure 440 with 840 pads

 

Open: Mayflower Modded Fostex T50RP (Actually semi-open), Beyerdynamic DT880/990, Sennheiser HD518/HD558, AKG K612, Phillips Fidelio X1, or Hifiman HE400

 

Add on a modmic to any of these headphones. 

My personal rig - 4790k 4.8Ghz, Asus Z97 Pro (wi-fi ac), Corsair Dominator Plat 4x8GB, SLI GTX 1080 TI FE, Samsung 850 Evo 1TB, Crucial MX100 512GB, EVGA G3 1000W, and cooled by a hardline liquid cooling loop.

Ugh I put it with open because you can still hear things around you bit it does have a bit more isolation than the others so it might be closer to closed. I didn't want to have it's own catagory either.
