was it 95 octane?

afaik, in us they have lower octane gas, like 87 or smthing

95RON, in the US they are using 85MON but 95RON=85MON

I filled my tank at $2.44/gal this morning.

  You lucky thing

The US uses the AKI (Anti Knock Index) standard. (RON+MON)/2

The normal fuels in the US are 87, 89, 91 and 93 by the AKI. I filled up with 87.

didn't know that, but after some search, US uses AKI which is (M+R/2) where 95 MON equals to 90AKI, which is somewhere in the middle per quality

also, 87 AKI (US stuff) equals 91 MON, which you can't get here

the more you know...

so fell a bit better about your purchase :D

Tbf though, Europe taxes fuel much more harshly than the US does. That and regular gas (at least here in the UK) is 95 Octane, so something that's probably sold as premium+ or something along those lines over in the US. :P

Anyway, sort of on topic, I haven't actually purchased it yet, I plan on getting a Toshiba Canvio Desk 5TB. Apparently they use their own drives in these things and it's dirt cheap for a 5TB  drive (£99). Anyway, I was having problems with W10 upgrading (those being it just flat out wouldn't no matter what I tried) so I decided just to go for a dirty install. Anyway, I don't really feel right doing that. I either upgrade or I just nuke it, though with about 5TB worth of media and games on the line... The nuke wasn't an option...

Anyway, I'll get it soon and just nuke and pave to 8.1 then upgrade to 10 from there.

We have been over this. The Europeans use a different standard than the US. Your 95 ~ our 89.

Toshiba's drives have always been fine with me, from what I've seen there's nothing wrong with it... Aside from the short ass cables. I mean, the cheapest I found from WD was one of their element drives which use WD Green drives, I've already got a drive that parks the head and it's just inconvenient, not to mention that it costs £130.

I mean... I could justify spending maybe £5 extra for a drive from HGST or WD instead of going for something from Seagate (warranty usually being the main factor) but there's no way in hell that two letters and a 2 year warranty (as opposed to Toshiba's 3 year warranty) is worth an extra £30.

And a good thing is, that I found a random coupon code on the internet, which subtracted 5€ from the purchase, so instead of 29€ I paid 24€ (including shipping)... small save, but a save nonetheless :P

Because that air cooler is able to compete and keep up with most water coolers up to a certain point? Because he's happy with the air cooler?

But how does it have good airflow with the 295X2 taking the exhaust spot. Maybe two fans on the top?

Don't get me wrong, it's a awesome build, but a H110i would look cook because it has the same tubes as the 295X2  :D

We'll have to see after I get my 980ti hof. I might opt on for h110i gtx AOI after all and get some Dominator dims. But those look pretty common.
