How much would you pay?

 

I think at this point in time everyone knows what the new xbox is (...htpc with some cool features...) and isn't (capable high-end gaming machine).

 

I myself would pay up to 199 USD as this is about the price of a good media player and a little less than a htpc (but with the subscription it would be about the same as a htpc; the xbox has it's features as an advantage over a htpc)

 

Gimme dem opinions!

none but realistically probably like $250 USD at most.

i would say 350- 400 is reasonable

$350 to $400 Seems good to me, though I was really hoping they would make Xbox Live free.

Even though Australia is not inflated and our dollar is almost par we pay at least twice as much. It is estimated it will retail here for about $800 AUD. 

The PS3 and Xbox 360 when they launched were over $1000 in Australia. True story.

realistically, i would never really pay more than 299 dorras, i just don't see the worth when i have all the things it's trying to 'unify' already, and i don't really have any trouble using them. sure, the gestures etc are cool gimmicks, but really, that's all they are, gimmicks. that won't be a make or break part of the deal for anyon e i'd have to say.

 

consoles and gaming in general has gone a bit crazy with the whole need for social sharing i think too..

Your rig must've cost a fortune.

 

I'm willing to pay around €350 for the PS4, maybe €400 in a pack with a game and an extra controller, like I got my PS3 in January 2010 for €300. I suppose I'd say the same if I was looking to buy a One (HTC confusion inbound).

the price is expected to be 400-500$... I'm guessing 399 is included in the range...
