Files being deleted without me doing it

Hey guys, i have a really annoying problem I cant solve.

Files are being deleted without me doing it.

 

I have re-installed windows multiple times and all my virus scans come back clean but files keep disappearing. usually after a bsod.

 

I used recuva after it happened today and it found all my files. It says they were in the recycle bin for nearly all of them.

 

Is there some kind of virus that could be causing this? or some hardware reason?

 

any ideas?

Get malwarebytes anti malware, update windows defender, disconnect from internet, run full scans on both, ???, profit (hopefully)

I need more info.

What is your system specs (full)? Does your system does any strange noise?

Do you have an HDD or SSD? DO you have a RAID setup?

Your SATA controller set to AHCI, RAID or IDE/Legacy/Compatibility mode (see BIOS/UEFI setup screen)?
