Hey quite great. 8.5/10? Hard to put a number on

the 660ti is quite great, and with the 3770k OC I think you have quite some life in that system, a simple cheap GPU upgrade every now and then.

My most used system, my laptop-

i7-2920xm @ 2.5GHz, I do overclock sometimes

2x 6970m 2GB in crossfire ovb

16GB ram, upgradable to 32

muh specs

Gaming and HTPC (reparations)- ASUS 1080, MSI X99A SLI Plus, 5820k- 4.5GHz @ 1.25v, asetek based 360mm AIO, RM 1000x, 16GB memory, 750D with front USB 2.0 replaced with 3.0  ports, 2 250GB 850 EVOs in Raid 0 (why not, only has games on it), some hard drives

Screens- Acer preditor XB241H (1080p, 144Hz Gsync), LG 1080p ultrawide, (all mounted) directly wired to TV in other room

Stuff- k70 with reds, steel series rival, g13, full desk covering mouse mat

All parts black

Workstation(desk)- 3770k, 970 reference, 16GB of some crucial memory, a motherboard of some kind I don't remember, Micomsoft SC-512N1-L/DVI, CM Storm Trooper (It's got a handle, can you handle that?), 240mm Asetek based AIO, Crucial M550 256GB (upgrade soon), some hard drives, disc drives, and hot swap bays

Screens- 3  ASUS VN248H-P IPS 1080p screens mounted on a stand, some old tv on the wall above it.

Stuff- Epicgear defiant (solderless swappable switches), g600, moutned mic and other stuff.

Laptop docking area- 2 1440p korean monitors mounted, one AHVA matte, one samsung PLS gloss (very annoying, yes). Trashy Razer blackwidow chroma...I mean like the J key doesn't click anymore. I got a model M i use on it to, but its time for a new keyboard. Some edgy Utechsmart mouse similar to g600. Hooked to laptop dock for both of my dell precision laptops. (not only docking area)

Shelf- i7-2600 non-k (has vt-d), 380t, some ASUS sandy itx board, intel quad nic. Currently hosts shared files, setting up as pfsense box in VM. Also acts as spare gaming PC with a 580 or whatever someone brings. Hooked into laptop dock area via usb switch

I respect budget, but given a little get rid of that GPU! Get a new case and get even hell a 750 or something. Might not even need a new PSU, it doesn't plug in if I remember right, so it draws like 75 watt max?

Bam 129$ plus case= less than 200$.

I mean my laptops 2 6970ms are about the same as 2 7770s performance wise, and with a lot games im starting to feel the age of them and unless I run both its hard to run new games.

4/10

Fine CPU though. 8GB is plenty to game too.

why/10

Look, I appreciate the extreme, but I'm not sure how I feel about the 3970x. Why pay nearly twice as much over a 3930k? Makes little sense to me. The 3930k overclocks pretty damn well. I know I'm judging, just seems weird to me. I'm not judging how much you spent on your system, totally ok with that.

And the 2 titans

I mean dayum.

I would have went for 2 780ti s but I have no idea when you made that. Plus it's better for multi screen setups probably.

Not gonna lie I'm really considering a titan black.

10/10

Still refer to my profile pic for that CPU

Dem gpus tho

ooh just noticed your case

you probably got like 3 car radiators hooked up to a chinook  and got that overpriced CPU to get every god damn inch of performance.  :)

Meh, it serves me good enough so I will keep it for a bit longer, till I do build a new rig from scratch or upgrade this, still unsure of it though.

I agree with you that there's not a lot of space, but I see it as a preferential thing. For me, having 500GB is perfect; I only play two or three games, and have plenty of space for anything I may need. But yes, my cooling is awful.

Also the stock fan bothers me^^
