RATE THE PC SPECS ABOVE YOU :)

thetechdude

I'd give that a 9.5/10. The only reason it didn't get 10 is because I'm a water cooling fan boy :P

This is what comes soon for my custom loop:

Hardwarelabs Nemesis GTX 420

Hardwarelabs Nemesis GTX 360

First rig 6.5/10 because I'm imagining it's use case to be good for what it is. Second rig 8.5 out of ten, very very solid rig.

-

Secondary rig, wife uses it now, as of yesterday>

Win 7 x64

Phenom II X4 965 3.4Ghz Stock

8GB Generic DDR3 1066 (it reads 1333 but it's def lying)

EVGA GTX 760 ACX Superclocked 2GB

1TB WD Green HDD (worst damn mechanical drive I've EVER encountered in 16 years of computing...)

Generic case, but bought her a keyboard, Deathadder mouse and an Asus 1080p gaming panel to use with it.

My main rig, built it yesterday, and yes I went a little low on the Cpu, but I want quiet, cool, silent silent low power usage and lots of performance.

-

Win 8.1 x64

Intel 4th Gen Haswell Core i5 4440 3.1Ghz | 3.3Ghz Turbo (literally double the performance of the old AMD Phenom II)

16GB Corsair Vengeance Ram 1600Mhz

GTX 770 2GB Reference

1TB WD Blue 64MB Cache 7,200rpm

Belkin AC750 DB Dual Band Router

Corsair CX750M 750w Modular PSU

Medium Grade Corsair case

I wanted high performance, but silence and minimal power draw. Once I receive my settlement I'll be buidling a pretty incredible workstation PC for myself and wife, using the latest Intel Extreme parts, but that's end of summer, early fall probably. This runs BF4 on ultra at avg 60+ fps in 1080p, I can't complain.. Well except that BF4 is a joke lol. BF3 is more fun and runs 130fps on Ultra. The uptime on this new rig is 19 hours now, so far flawless, very happy. And yes I probably didn't need to spend so much on the memory kit, but meh, Best Buy had it and I needed it asap.

Beware the irrational, however seductive. Shun the ‘transcendent’ and all who invite you to subordinate or annihilate yourself. Distrust compassion; prefer dignity for yourself and others. Don’t be afraid to be thought arrogant or selfish. Picture all experts as if they were mammals. Never be a spectator of unfairness or stupidity. Seek out argument and disputation for their own sake; the grave will supply plenty of time for silence. Suspect your own motives, and all excuses. Do not live for others any more than you would expect others to live for you.

P. cool rig, 8/10 because not EXTREEEEME (but hey, it's still a great rig)

CPU:      Intel i7-3770k@4.0GHz (Undervolted to 1.015V)

Mobo:    Asus Maximus V Formula

RAM:     16GB Crucial Ballistix Sport (1600Mhz, but I'm thinking about getting 32GB at the end of summer)

GFX:      MSI GTX 670 PE OC SLI (2GB VRAM, OC'd to +80 on core because I don't want them to die)

Mon1:    Asus PB278Q (OC'd to 85Hz (>60Hz Master race!)

Mon2:    Acer V223HQV (Ugly as heck but it's what I used before I got my PB278Q)

SSD:     SanDisk 128GB

HDD:     WD Green 2TB (Just needed a load of cheap storage, will probably run 5 of these in my upcoming NAS)

Netwrk:  Cisco EA6500 (using as an 802.11ac WAP), Cisco 2950 (2x 24 port, 1x 12 port switches), Cisco 2610 (2x), Cisco 2611 (1x), Cisco 3620 (1x) - Never go network on me, kid

Water cooling loop: Alphacool UT60 (60mm thick, 360mm), 4x NF-F12s in push/pull, Hardwarelabs GT Stealth 280mm rad (30mm thick), 2x NF-A14s in pull, EK Supremacy nickel acetal, MCP655 vario pump, both 670s have a LiquidExtasy waterblock, using Primochill Primoflex Advanced LRT tubing, mcres micro rev2 reservoir.

OS:       Windows7 (cba to upgrade yet)

Sound setup:

Mixer:   Yamaha MG10/2 (to manage all the outputs from my computer, (Skype, youtube, games, etc...) works better than any software control for me)

Thingy: Denon RCD-M39DAB because even I like to listen to the radio sometimes

Speakers: DALI Zensor 1 (2x)

Case:   Corsair Carbide 500r

No SSD, A10 is a 2x2 proc (and not even that fast for a quad), 1333MHz, no liquid. 5/10. Huge fan of the A10s for media centers, though!

Holding out for the VaporX 290Xs to go for $500, the TriXs already are. Going to snag two when they do. I need them for my Dell's in surround. :P

Blah. I hit 90C on P95 if I go to 1.25v with my 4770K and at 1.275v on my 4670K. These chips are way too hot. >.>

You go to 'My Profile > Edit Profile > Signature' and you're there mate. You can use other peoples signature specs as a template if it makes it a little easier.
