For a very tight budget thats one damn good system. Overall I'd give it a 7.5/10, but for a budget id give it a 9/10 with a 10 being the replacement of your hard disk for a SSHDD for faster access to most used files.

Suggested upgrades:

Get yourself a small SSD for OS, 120GB drives are about $60 now.

Upgrade your 750Ti to something a bit more powerful. When the 300 amd cards come out you should be able to get a 290x for as much as you would have spent on the 750ti, even less if preowned.

My specs are below.

Gaming PC: CPU: i7 4770k@4.2GHz w/ CM Nepton 140xl, GPU: Gigabyte 1070 @2050, RAM: ADATA XPG V1 16GB@2133MHz, Mobo: MSI Z97 Gaming 7, Case: Corsair NZXT S340.

9/10. As explained and shown before the difference between 16 to 32 to 64Gb of Ram is much more noticeable by 64Gb's. You could have invested more in your cpu if you wanted too aswell. You could have gotten a higher capacity SSD and 10,000 Rpm Hard drives instead. Overhaul its a dream many "hardcore gamers and creative media makers would want". All you lack is 2 extra Titan X's and 1300W+ Psu for that lol :P

Its more for media creation than gaming, but it does both amazingly. That's why I went with the RAM I did. Also, the 5820 was a conscious decision. I didn't need 40 lanes, and the clock isn't worth it, and I certainly didn't want to spend 600 more for an X sku. The SSDs I have, I just don't need them in there. I only need a boot and application drive to be fast, the rest is scratch on the 2TB, and video/music in-progresses on the 3TB. I have a couple 1TB SSDs laying around, so I may drop them in :)

The projects never end in my line of work.

8/10. Its a pretty immersive setup i gotta say but i would have personally go for triple 1440p or dual 2160p. Assuming you use a lot of dvd's/cd's, etc why not get a blu ray player :D? I too need to get a new media player. Thats a whole lot of ram at a high speed, but is it really necessary to pay such a premium for 2400Mhz for what you do? Full Custom Liquid cooling maybe? Fit in a FirePro? Its a pretty good build overhaul.

Unbalanced build that is a bit weird in places. Seriously? A H110 GT for a locked CPU?

Something must be wrong with my 4790k if my locked CPU is clocking 4.8 GHz @ 1.35 Core Voltage.  4790k is definitely not a locked CPU

:P Intel desktop cpu's for this year are to be only the I7 5775C and I5 5675C for broadwell. Theyr kinda same as Haswell (Performance, theyr better in litography and integrated renderizer) and Devil's Canyon seem still be top of the line, at least until Skylake C comes out in 2016. As far as rating id say your's is a 7/10, you have a pretty solid storage bank there, altough the cooling is outdated and that psu (whats with the price of it xD?). Seems good to me.

9/10 Wouldn't be my choice of mobo and cooler, but otherwise it's brilliant

Cheers, I bought the fans after the fact and had a $1100 budget. So with that said, it was $1096 before fans. ;)

Might as well post my GF's Rig here. It's not built yet, still waiting on the shipping. But this build was to get her gaming in The Elder Scrolls Online for as little as reasonably possible. We hunted down as many deals as we could:

EDIT: I've given her my RAM kit and I'm buying a new one that suites my builds color scheme a bit better.

Note: The fans are both twin packs... she wanted Purple LED's... I wanted her to have Static Pressure. So we met in the middle.
