well i dont drive but i will use manual

I have two cars, both have manual transmissions. That's definitely the way I prefer it.

I have driven stick for 4 years, love it. But I got a fox body mustang with a 302 V8 for $800, but it's an auto so I guess i'll be driving auto until I can afford a 5 speed for it.

Well i´m a sporty girl.

 

So i wanne drive sporty lol.

Automatic just does not give me that sporty feeling.

Thats why i prefer manual

offcourse you have all that tip tronic, DSG, TCT, and what not, but still...

 

I just like to "play" with the stig... ehhh stick... :D

My $.02:

 

Automatics are nice in cities or places with stop/go traffic. Other than that, I can't stand them.

 

New A/Ts are a lot better than they used to be; most at least can lock the top gear which is nice for fuel economy and deceleration.

 

The number one reason I dislike normal A/Ts is there is no way to keep them from downshifting if you load the engine. That bugs me so much. I assume some manually selectable gear equipped A/Ts are not subject to this in manual mode, I would like that experience very much.

 

Oh, and it is lame the A/Ts tug on the brakes so much at low speeds while coming to  a stop. It's good for burning gas in order to wear the brakes I guess...

 

 

Here's another reason as to why manual cars are fun  :P
