Anyone else do this with all their spare PC parts and screws?

PS-I keep the box of every PC component I buy, and I put them all inside my case box. I am coming close to reaching the top of my 800D box :P

I wish. During one of my three moves the past 8 months, my organizer got dumped, and my stuff has been in a plastic baggy since. One of the tubes of thermal compound opened and got everywhere in it, I rinsed everything out and tossed the compound tube (crusted at the tip, don't trust it anymore, cheap anyways), and haven't since gotten the enthusiasm to OCD over it all. I just put it all in a drawer and neglect it  <_<

I really wish that we'd just make organic hardware already, that grows and adapts to the demands it needs to meet. That way, grannies' computers can be floppy sacks of organicness and the 12 year old Minecrafters will look like the guys that only do bicep curls, and the nerdy programmers will finally have justice, with their body-builder rigs that skipped leg day.

Like, if I recall correctly, it was a 40g tube from Radio Shack that was on sale, used it for general things, usually tech support for people.

I have a mason jar filled with every screw.

And three different case boxes, filled to the brim

And a giant tub filled to the brim...

All my spare pieces are inside my PSU box. I don't keep the boxes longer than I need to.

Never say it's not broken. Everything is broken. Why? Because everything needs MOAR POWA!

Wow. I didn't even think of that kind of solution. I have them in small plastic bags withing mobo box. Some misc cooling stuff is in coolers box, cable management stuff is all around the house and I really need to collect them in one place.

 

I'll have a look at local shop for some nice box now :D

I wish i could be more organized like you, but i keep my stuff inside the original boxes, when i need somtehing i go get them there.

 

Got to get one of those boxes, and one of those magnetic plates that Linus likes so much... comes in very handy.

I sort my screws in random bags and then put my most recently removed ones in a glass cigarette ash tray (hasn't been used as an ash tray since 2009 or so).

Lol, I put them all in one tub and then regret it when I need to install a new HDD, then just throw all the screws and cages back into the tub. I so smart lol.

I have my spare parts in zip lock bags then they go in a tool box labeled PC so it looks less obsessive compulsive.

All my screws are in a bag somewhere, and all my cables and such are in the corner of my desk's lowest shelf.

 

For my equipment, I bought a huge 250-peice kit (which has spaces setup for every tool) a while back, and that's the only reason all 250 pieces aren't strewn all over my room.
