Ubisoft is at it again with their crap. Claiming FarCry on console is equivalent to PC and WatchDogs E3 settings are still in the PC game, but not an option.

Yes; because they will artificially nerf the settings in the game files to make PC look bad.  :)

I'll be the first to say that I HOPE they're not even remotely graphically similar, between consoles and PC.

I really wish that we'd just make organic hardware already, that grows and adapts to the demands it needs to meet. That way, grannies' computers can be floppy sacks of organicness and the 12 year old Minecrafters will look like the guys that only do bicep curls, and the nerdy programmers will finally have justice, with their body-builder rigs that skipped leg day.

The e3 settings are in the game.. There is a graphics tool made by a user that can enable them, i tested it myself

Maybe if the game is running at 24fps which we all know console peasants love to say they love but never play their games at. I really love it when a peasant claims that 24fps is cinematic for games and they play their games at 30fps and say that higher isn't better when 30 is clearly larger then 24 so 60 is also higher then 30 therefor 60 is better than 30 in every way.

I thought the watch dogs thing was pretty clever. You actually have to hack the game about hacking to get the most out of it.

As far as what I think about the new settings, it's a placebo. It doesn't look any better, it's got bloom on. At least to me. The game isn't very scalable, theres barely a difference between ultra and low.

Half of you are probably still buying Ubisoft's shitty products, and have no right to complain if you do. (However if you don't, then that's cool)

Proudly haven't bought anything from Ubisoft in over a decade, except Heroes of Might and Magic V which I bought only because I didn't know Ubisoft had bought the IP.

Beyond Good and Evil is literally the only good thing they ever did, and they're calling it a "mistake". Those shitheads!

In case the moderators do not ban me as requested, this is a notice that I have left and am not coming back.

They'll probably do it to the Crew and The Division and I want to boycott it but they looks like so much fun!!!!

Boycotting a Puplisher is stupid you should always judge each game individual and not by the company that does the marketing.

The Division is made by Massive not by Ubisoft Montreal and even in Ubisoft Montreal they have about 3-4 different teams.

It's pretty simple don't buy a game without a review from several trusted sources.

At least they say that it's primarily developed on PC. Assassin's Creed is still the better series though. I would love for them to take advantage of the power of PC.

You guys are hilarious.

How does whatever happened on WD automatically apply to Far Cry 4?

I don't facepalm often, but...

Hutchinson has also mentioned that Far Cry 4 is developed primarily on PC, unlike other Ubisoft games, i.e. Assassin's Creed

I have started hating Ubisoft when they started forcing uPlay on their games with always online DRM. They are the European counterpart of EA.

Why should a studio that pulled all this crap receive our trust to not do it again?

I pirated watch dogs and I firmly stand by that decision, I normally always buy games I've tried and liked but if a guy had to write us an options menu in order to use all of what they are charging us for then I'd rather pay him.

If you feel wronged that's your right.

But to assume that the actions of one team, lead by different management, should automatically be assumed to be done by another team is a stretch.

No: most modern games utilize tons of these "placebos" lighting effects are just as important for the overall look as texture quality and polygon count, it's like having the highest resolution camera in the world it wont mean anything if you don't have good lighting.

Try version 0.7 of the mod. It fixes many things (:

I don't understand. Their even using Nvidia engine or something which is primarily for the PC. Wouldn't it make sense that it would at least perform well on the PC, since AMD has the consoles in their hands? Its a good thing I decided to not get it. I knew the problems with the PC port of Assassin's Creed was not just a bad sign. Adding Ubisoft Montreal along with a couple of dev studios from EA to the list of developer studios I will not support in any way.

I think that Ubisoft hasn't watched the news for a while and they honestly think PC gaming doesn't has enough potential for revenue vs the consoles and they're intentionally hitting the breaks because they made the (amazingly stupid) assumption that a vastly superior version on the PC would cannibalize profits on the consoles.
