Any games like star citizen... just not so graphics heavy?

KemoKa

Okay, so we're all absolutely stoked for Star Citizen and we all know it's gonna be the coolest thing ever (is our hope) but I was wondering if there is a game sort of like it, but not so graphics heavy? I am going away for a bit and all I'll have is my laptop. the thing has an A10, and it will handle 28fps at medium on Unigine Valley, (and is an AMD so it won't die on me) so I was wondering if there was a Star Citizen-like game out there that didn't require a computer to render over 100,000 polygons? I'm not looking at absurd-res crazy details gaming, just something to keep me tapping the keys. (I have a copy of Homeworld I'm thinking of using, so you know I'm not fussy about low graphics)

Any suggestions (other than star wars) ^^

You will get more answers if you post in the right section.  Older games by Robert Space industries would be your best bet.

Also game informer had a recent article on space sims it may be worth checking out.

As I get older I get angrier more cynical, meaner. I feel some warning posts coming. I feel a ban coming. I was warned.

Star Lancer
or
No Man's Sky has some similarities. Although, SC will have plenty more to do. Only problem it isn't out yet. Keep an eye on it though. It might only be on PS4 too.
