Thor D3sk V2 (Remodd 2014)[Build Complete]

jojoharalds

Well the design is mine, and that design is put into the computer wich is connected to a printing machine that looks something similar to the thing below,

and then i take 3mm acrylic sheet cut out the background size i need for tyhe sticker letters to fit on with the correct space in between,

But before i put the sticker on i make sure that the acrylic sheet looks well,by polishing the edges after cutting and sanding them very nicely down,

and i start on the sticking part,(the most difficult part on that is keeping airbubbles out fromunderneath)

Hopefully this information was alright to give a little picture on how i did it,there are possible other ways, but this was how i did it :)

thank you for following my Buildlog.

o well never mind then, i don't have one of these badboys, and i don't really need it anyways, but thanks for the explanation (if it was easier i probably would have used it ;))

also, how can i not follow such an awesome buildlog ;D

My Build log of the Satan's Cave PC Desk Project is starting to get in action! Come check it out if you feel like it  :)

That is neat. I thought it was something to prevent turbulence? (you know, keep things quieter so you don't hear that flowing water sound).

I really like some of the concepts you have used in this build, one specifically is how you've routed in the cable management slots.

Kudos to you

Thank you,Yes if you are talking about the sound that comes from the d3sk,then i can tell you ,that the desk has changed quite a bit since i did that video,

and if you are talking about the recording, then i didn't have the 650d canon when this video was recorded.

Thank you for checking the video :)

Thank you :),

there are still some things to be done before i call this build a total finish:)

hardware change will be next,(Thinking of the Asus maximus Vii Hero Motherboard, with the 4790k,and some awsome Bitspower waterblock on that :)

I was thinking on a Gpu upgrade(980) but i think my asus R9280X platinum matrix cards will do the job for a year or two(let's hope so)

Well everyone goode news,

this is not actually an update,

its more a plan on how the oktobe month is going to go(if all goes well)

1)Purchasing the new motherboard

2)Purchasing the new Cpu,

3)purchasing the new waterblock for the motherboard and cpu ,

4)Review and unbox all the stuff (youtubevideo)

5)finish the interior cover (black 3mm acrylic)

6)realy want to purchase some extra watercooling fittings, adapters, and flowmeter.

So Hopefully all goes well ,and i am able to perform all these things @ its best.

Thank you for following my buildlog.

I don't like blue. Apart from that, I really think you should make a patent of ATX desks and start selling them so people can have their own desk computers but they don't need to build the desk and you'll make some profit.

I'm a genius, right?

Looks pretty bad ass. However, it's not wooden and it's not a corner table. I love corner tables.

Hey everyone,

Here is a short Video i made onn how i play /sit in front of the desk,

since this is actually something people are interessted in knowing, hopefully this explains/if not feel free to ask.

No it is not Uncompfortable, although my legs look a bit crushed on the video,

usually my chair isn't that high and my arms rest on the desk(wich was not realy an option while recording)

Second reason for making this video,

To try out my skills with Adobe premiere pro,

realy like the programm,But still lots to learn,(please don't judge)

Enjoy the Video ,any tips on editing are very much apprichiated :)

When most people finish their build they don't touch it for a long time.

I love how you're just like "i just finished my build that i worked on for so long. Let's upgrade this thing"

Hehe Yeah i thought about how this may look strange,i wasn't sure if i should upgrade now or wait until next year,

well i came to the conclusion i will do it now,and put in everything right away,so the only thing i will do late is buying new Gpu's (if something more worthy is coming to the table)

Thank you for checking out my build log :)
