Guys i am getting hacked and i need help.

trainergames

Ok this morning when i got up i noticed some had changed my password on my email, well i got in and changed it to something else, then i noticed they changed the passwords,to my origin, microsoft, sony, and steam accounts.

I have gotten the origin, and microsoft accounts back and passwords changed,i have also added my phone to my email,so hopefully it will make it harder for them to get back in,i even changed the password on the secondary email which is how i got back in.

But when i try to change the password on my sony account it says invalid email, and they changed my email connected to my steam account,my i have sent a support ticket,so hopefully i will get it back.

Any advice you can give me to go from here would be great.

But keep in mind i have to leave for work in a little over 2 and a half hours from now.

Are you using this PC to connect here now?

If you have another pc to us. disconnect the one with the problems.

Has the malwarbytes scan reported anything?

Do you have an up to date backup of the troubled PC? If so i think reverting to that is a good idea.

I think 2 of the had the same password, but I know for a fact that my email and steam passwords were different, but he did not need to know the the steam password cause he broke into my email and just changed the password that way.

I had that question too, and it turned out that you need to add a ? to the text and it magically translates into "Which are your primary school?".

My Gmail account was hacked ages ago, but thankfully Gmail knew exactly what was going on and sent a message to my phone, was all sorted, and i just denied access to the creep.

It was some Asian guy from China with full IP details at my disposal....

And that is why, at least for your email, 2 factor authentication is really important. If the attacker can't log in to your email, they can't then reset the rest of your passwords so this is less likely to happen. Sure, it's annoying, but it is a massive boost to the security of your account. Steamguard is a fairly basic (and not so good) version of 2fa because it just sends it to your email, which could easily be compromised. I wish valve allowed a better one (text message or code generator).
