Game making help!

Toxic Venom

I have to make a game for school, just a basic one but i need some suggestions on what to use and ideas on what kind of game it should be, im prepared to watch lots of tutorials on new languages to make the game 3 weeks till its due. It really only needs to be a basic game most people in my class are using scratch and game maker but i want don't want to make it on those.

Thanks in advance

In 3 weeks without any background in programming you will struggle to create much

I would suggest something simple, perhaps a maze? puzzle game? or maybe something like 1942 or space invaders

You can make a simple game in HTML5 or Python. 3 weeks is more than enough time to learn and be able to use these languages.

I also made hangman in python using just text and ascii art, and printing to terminal. It was really easy. Then I took it a step further and made a 2kloc hangman game using FLTK GUI
