Blame Japan for being strange. Hyouka is NOT targeted to middle aged man, so it fits in the category.

Oh well, might as well rewatch the series, I still have all the episodes from way back when they aired...

It is in fact a labeled as a novel, though to be honest the term is pretty transparent in book content.

Baka tsuki's got it wrong here since they usually don't translate anything besides Light Novels, but it isn't a very big deal. 

 

I'm excited for this series. It looks good!

It's not for everyone but I do hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

I'll be honest, out of most people here, I'll probably be the one to like it the least, as I'm more for the super natural less mundane (aka not slice of life) anime. Though if it's good either way it'll get a thumbs up, i may not like the content but I will be able to admire it if it has good animation and story.

I often find myself backspacing because I find that the phrase I am using is relating to a phrase from a movie or book or song that is unrelated to the topic. but yes I did also think that song when I posted it. I decided to let that one go.

there are just like too many and arent the series at least some what out of order? I never really got dragged into one I think I started the one where he just entered high school.

I dont care if there are 50 banners on the site or short commercials the way hulu used to be but using all the forsure legal sites is a headache and they usually do not have all the content or all the titles.

 

which leads me to say, "this is why I love steam." yes because steam is a central place that has most of the titles and theres no bull. it just works.

I don't think there is a legal place to stream this. That maybe something to think about in the future of these votes as to weather there is a place to watch them. So far i have watched most of them on hulu and crunchyroll but this isn't on those or netflix and i don't know if there is another legal site that would have it. I could be wrong I just don't know of anywhere to watch it that is legal and i think most of the links given in these threads have not been legal or maybe i just assume they arnt

lol i understand that but i would have to say more people will likely get involved with this if there are links to places you can watch this. I assume that is the reason for the links in the first place although this is the first time i have tried to used them. 

 

Also i understand being against streaming in general for the obvious reasons of lower quality less options and sometime not being legal but i find it so much less effort even if i have to watch some ads on hulu then trying to find good torrents and anime tends to be rather over priced to buy. I also find that torrents unless dvd images are not that good in general as they tend to end up being lower res tv rips with no options for subtitles other then being overlaid onto the videos.
