GTX 750Ti vs. GTX 660 which one?

Building a budget gaming rig for a friend with budget of $200 for the gpu. Like the looks of the 660 with the acx cooler, but it would be smarter to just get the 750ti for $50 less and spend that on other parts if the performance difference isn't enough, so far been unable to get a definitive answer using google. 

 

What i need is someone who knows their gpus and unbiased arguments for or against...GO!

The 660 performs better.

The 750 Ti uses less power.

Depends on the power supply and actual use of the PC itself

With Gaming the GPU is more important for the most part, what CPU is in the system and what kind games are going to be played? You also have to keep in mind that the PSU will need to be powerful enough and have the proper connectors for the 660 while the 750Ti requires no external power.

GTX 660 comes with watchdogs for free and performs better.

GTX 750ti comes with a bunch $25 F2P game vouchers.

 

If your friend plans on buying watchdogs, the GTX 660 is the clear choice.

Nvidia is partially like Apple; their products are overpriced and they're shiny silver, but the software is far better. Not as overpriced as Apple, but still overpriced.

He's not a fanboy, just not tech savvy.....so he always goes with what he thinks is mainstream. Tried explaining the way of things to him but its a lost cause.
