The Utterly Imbalanced CaseLabs TX10-D build(s)!

VSG

Speaking of Star Trek Warp Core:

They still have 2 left (1 blue led, 1 red led) from the limited run they did a few months back. I have been trying very hard not to go for one of these now that the new reservoirs are here lol.

That's beautiful...

If this thing came in UV, I'd be all over it.

That Meteor Core reservoir has LED strips inside which you might be able to remove and switch with UV active strips. I will find out for sure and post in here.

Edit: The 2 available in the store are extra units leftover from a run, so they are selling it as-is at a discount. So if any mods need to be done to replace the LEDs, it would be on the user's end.

Yay for 13k views.

For those waiting for the EVGA 1600G2, from Jacob:

1600 G2's just came in, limited QTY shipping out. Expect to see them available shortly.

Expect to see it at ETAIL and EVGA.com shortly in US, Europe should follow close.

If 80+ gold efficiency is enough for you (and it really is, you know it!), and the eco-mode/fanless operation is not a big deal for you then I can fully recommend this. I haven't been able to open up the unit because of warranty terms despite my best coaxing efforts but the fan sounds quieter than on the 1300G2 and arguably moves more air but I can't confirm for sure with any actual numbers.

Yup, but then again I don't need ECC so this is just an indication of pricing for me.

You can paint the brackets anytime, but think up of a name soon and make the thread.

@VSG I found some weird marine paint remover in my garage, it's a sludge-ish type of substance, and it removed 2 1/2 layers of paint off the bracket, just by dunking it in the liquid and swirling the bracket around for a few seconds.

I think I found my new favorite thing when painting! lol.

I took my M power to a model store yesterday and color matched some paint incase I need yellow paint for something.  The guy was looking at me weird at first lol, but then understood what I was doing and became much nicer.

What will be your next update btw?

I got an mcp35x2 top yesterday so will be doing some flow rate tests of 1 vs 2 mcp35x pumps. Other than that, mostly just waiting for the powdercoating to be done so I can start assembling things.

Oh, I sold my SP120 QE fans to an LTT member (Shipping soon) so will likely get some GTs or eloops for the AX480.

I will make my topic today, after I think of a name for it.  I'm thinking "the transformation", since I'm still using pieces from the original build, or maybe "recycled".  I will do some pondering then make it today.

I have a few pictures already I can use. ( GPU, some of the hardware, the case, + the paints I grabbed at the model store)

Recycled would be a good name for a ghetto build. You should use @Kittke name.

It's gonna be a high end 4790k + acrlyic tubing with a 290x though, so not necessarily ghetto lol

They're white right now, I can't decide whether I want them to match the color of my gentle typhoons, (lighter gray), or if I should do them yellow to match my m power.

One bonus to the lighter gray is it'd also match my dominator platinums.. hmm

well that's up to you to decide. what i can tell you is that you should try to balance the colors. it looks kinda weird when your pc is mostly black, some parts are grey and then one part is bright freaking yellow
