Red Dead 2 won't recognize new ram

Hi, I recently installed some dual channel 32 gb memory, and I replaced an 8 gb dual channel kit. Everything seems to be better, but when I boot up Red Dead 2 to tier up my graphics settings, it still says I have 8 GB of ram available still in the Graphics panel in the settings. Is there a way I can get it to recognize my new memory?

Are you sure its not showing VRAM which is the memory in the graphics-card (which isnt replacable).
Only way to change that is get a graphics-card with more memory.

When i ask for more specs, don't expect me to know the answer!

RDR2's Graphics menu shows GPU memory, not system memory. You likely have an 8GB GPU, and the only way to increase that is to upgrade your graphics card.

That's VRAM that RDR2 is showing, not system memory. Your 8GB kit just happened to correlate with your graphics card memory capacity.
