Honestly, there isn't much of a difference between the 16gb and 8gb one, unless you play games at like max settings and need a lot of vram. Honestly, the 4060 ti 8gb version should be fine if you don't need the extra 8gb. There shouldn't be a big difference between the oc and non oc card, so the 300 dollar deal looks pretty good to me. I wouldn't pay an extra 50 dollars for a 1 to 2 percent performance increase. Unless you really want to overclock or need an extra 8gb vram, then the 300 dollar gpu looks fine to me. maybe give us some games that you play so we can see if you really need the extra ram, as well as your settings.

Pffr here in Europe the  4060Ti 8GB is stil 400EUR+, terrible value 😞

This $300 thing for the 4060 Ti seems like a fluke. Seems to be a scam actually. It ships from a company called 'Diamo Li' and it has 4 ratings with an average of 25%. editing now

Yeah but A770 doesn't even perform as well as a 6650XT that costs $230 (20% less) and has way better drivers...

way better drivers...

The drivers thing hasn’t been a concern for over a year, my a770 is about on par with my 3070ti at this point, and in some scenarios doing better because it has more vram

That's just because you maybe don't play games where the Arc GPU struggles. There are still games where it runs really badly and I don't think it's worth the hassle. Especially if you like playing older games.

Though I do like that Intel is improving things constantly and they are now far better than on launch.

That's exactly the issue. VRAM on its own isn't going to give you more performance, but if you play games that need more than 8 GB, the performance on the 8 GB card will suffer a lot. And the number of games that require more than 8 GB is only going to increase.

i literally sold my a770 (8gb) to get a 3070, and the 3070 is way better.
