TGV Voyages Train Simulator FREE on Steam May 26th

Paul Rudd

TGV Voyages Train Simulator is FREE right now on Steam. 45% Mixed reviews... People are claiming crashes.

Free to keep when you get it before Jun 2 @ 1:00pm.

Installing the game now and gonna look into the crashes.

EDIT: Game works just fine, not a single crash. I get like 25-40 fps on the highest settings so I'm gonna play on Low for a nice 70 fps boost! I'd imagine the AA is hitting performance when using the highest settings.

Massive thanks for all your posts of these free games on steam!  I have the hardest time finding these things through the steam store page (In fact I never find them).  All it takes now is a quick glance at HotDeals here, thanks to people like you.

No problem.

I got the game up and running, zero crashes. Game works fine, no clue why people are claiming crashes.

My only problem with the game is getting the train to actually move. I got it to move and go like 130 MPH for a few minutes but I restarted the game because I wanted to play on low settings, which actually boosted fps by 70! But now that I started over I don't know what I pressed to get the train moving. I should probably play the tutorial.

The reviews of the game simulator are admittedly somewhat negative. Even saying 0 as cost is too much 🤔

Most of those reviews are having crashing issues, why I do not know because the game runs fine.

As for the gameplay in general, I can't really judge it tbh as I'm not super into these types of games but I would say that if you're the type of gamer that is into these types of games I wouldn't say it's a negative experience. In fact, going through the tutorials and learning how to actually get the train moving and coasting while going downhill was a positive experience.

And now this has just vanish from Steam Store / Library. Anyone seen any information on why?

No but my guess is the hundreds of negative reviews left in the past week have something to do with it. I just wish I knew why the game works for me but not for the majority of everyone else. Could be because I'm still on Windows 10 and I haven't updated my GPU drivers in ages. Newer drivers may cause conflictions with the game.
