Remembering DiabloTek power supplies - how did this garbage company go out?

Pickles von Brine

I remember working at microcenter and literally a pallet of diablotek power supplies sat in the BYO department. I made it my mission to prevent people for buying them. I went so far as to get into trouble with management. XD

but main thing was these power supplies were the biggest pieces of shit I have ever seen. They could not do their advertised wattage, did not follow the atx spec and were basically firestarters.

however, I could not find what happened to them in the end. Like, how they went out? Did their business fail or did something else force them? Or was it something else.

god these things were a blight.

Be sure to @Pickles von Brine if you want me to see your reply!

I live in other side of the world and just heard about this brand, and based on the quick google search about 'em....
If these are true, then all I can say is; they did a good job on picking a brand name, Diablo.

Source? Or is this sarcasm based on their power supply history? lol
