Need Help Getting This Old Need For Speed Game to Run

Hi there, I have been trying to get the game "Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2" to run on my system, but unfortunately even though I followed the steps in several videos I cannot get the game to work. I have attempted installation several times, but I can't get the game to fire up after it is installed and I have done all the steps in the video below from 77vids.

I have an original copy of the game and would like to play this on a modern system.
System Specs:

OS: Windows 10

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600X

Motherboard: Gigabyte Aorus B450 M

RAM: 32GB(4x8) Corsair Vengance LPX 3200 CL16

GPU: EVGA GTX 980 ti SC

Storage: Plenty

I appreciate any input on how to get this old gem to run 😉

Ah, man I loved Hot Pursuit 2. Unfortunately, it is ancient by today's standards. It is not uncommon for games this old, even with community patches, to fail to run on newer hardware and OS versions. If you continue to have problems with it, it might be worth trying to run it in a virtual machine running Windows XP SP2.

Don't forget to mark posts as the solution if you're satisfied!

Any luck with DOSBox? I can't remember if NFS-HP was a Win only game or not. I recall it being one of the games we loved playing at our LANs in Win9x days..
