Me and Alex and Timothy helped out classmate to build his Gamer Pc

 

here is the list of his parts:

 

Motherboard: Asus Maximus IV - Gene

CPU: Intel i5 4670K (CORSAIR H60-2013)

GPU: Asus GTX 750Ti OC 2GB ( we do have a spare if she wants to SLI) 

Ram: G.Skill RipJaw-X 1600 C9 (8GB=2x4GB)

Memory: kingston ssdnow v300 240gb (x1)  WD 1TB Blue /64MB/EZEX/7200X/7200 (x1)

PSU: CORSAIR RM750 (750W)

Coolers: 4x BitFenic Fans

 

oh and we used a Crosair 350D case that we got at the clearance bin for $88

 

please let me know if theres anything we need to change thanks

You can't SLI 750 TI I don't think, it has no SLI fingers.

On Topic: I'd go amd with an 6300 and go badass on the gpu more than badass on the i5.

i would get an FX 6300 and a better GPU, plus the PSU is overkill.

Can you SLI the 750 ti? I don't think you can for sure. Other than that just get a good monitor and tell her to enjoy!

fx-6300, get a AM3/+ board, 760 and a 450/500W PSU

also i wouldn't spend that much on that motherboard. Asrock or gigabyte are good alternatives.

Get a cheaper mobo because you don't need that and put the funds towards a stronger GPU.

I'm on my S4 right now, otherwise I'd give you the Anandtech-link that I've been giving everyone who mentions the SSDNow V300, lately.

Short version, kingston is using inferior NAND and the thing will not perform half as good as an 840 evo, for just a few bucks less. Don't buy it.

Edit, you should also spend less on the motherboard and get a better GPU.

  • the 2 750s were from his old PCs  we didnt buy them as for the motherboard it was a birthday present from his sister who really has a over kill gamer pc lol

2 diffrent pcs his and his sister's

she just bought a overkiller OCing gamer pc so we thore up the old pcs for the memories
