As bad as this

id say that is worse actually, atleast ncix was more or less in the realm of fantasy, don't even need to be a nerd to realise how stupid the video you linked is, that's just using very basic terms completely wrong.. ncix was just making shit up, CSI tried to be serious :P.

To the average TV watcher, its all just techno babel, it doesn't need to make sense. I bet the actors don't even understand half the stuff they're being told to say. And visual basic....it's like comic sans of the programming world, absolutely cringe worthy.

I so want one of those magic enhance programs. Come on, science, I'm waiting!

The stone cannot know why the chisel cleaves it; the iron cannot know why the fire scorches it. When thy life is cleft and scorched, when death and despair leap at thee, beat not thy breast and curse thy evil fate, but thank the Builder for the trials that shape thee.

Yeah, this is exactly how I'd describe IRC. I wish I knew how to speek leet though, it's always so hard to understand what people on IRC says.

I like this parody Red Dwarf did regarding stupid "zoom/enhance" stuff in crime scene dramas.

I want one of those cameras! They can change the point of view, and they can take a picture that has a 1000000000 x 1000000000 pixel density, so when I zoom in and ENHANCE, I can zoom in on his genetic code! Though, creating a GUI interface is easier and cheaper.

lol wut.

Sorry for the convoluted speech pattern.

SNIP

I laughed so hard on that last one, right of the bat. "uncrop", then casually proceeds to zooming and enhancing on 4 reflections.
