Just don't let linus near the GPU,

You never know.......

"A high ideal missed by a little, is far better than low ideal that is achievable, yet far less effective"

If you think I'm wrong, correct me. If I've offended you in some way tell me what it is and how I can correct it. I want to learn, and along the way one can make mistakes; Being wrong helps you learn what's right.

LMG really finally needs to up their EE game. This is horribly painful to watch. der8auer was always rightfully criticized for his soldering - but this is on a whole new level.

Would be nice to one day see you guys build a dry case environment for the components you'd use ur chiller on so u never need worry about condensation or slathering the components in petroleum jelly (Vaseline).

perhaps u should consider switching ur phase change block for a braised plate heat exchange so u can then plumb it into a 'normal' water loop, making it easier to use on both CPU's and GPU's of both manufacturers.

Still, was kinda fun seeing u work around that jury rigged AC chiller 😛

The iron is fine, the problem is that you need the right tip to get the heat into the parts that need to be heated.

Conical tips are pretty useless for basically anything. I don't know why they are popular. Hakko make great flat ones that are perfect for this.
