What should I buy with my tax money?

Buckley

Hey guys, I'm getting my taxes back and I was wondering what I should buy. I'm getting alittle over $300 (state and federal combined).

So with the $300, what should I get? My rig is in the description and to be honest I'm quite content for once with it. Should I grab an Xbox One (I'd rather get that only cause most of my friends have it and I'd rather keep my account) or something else.

CPU AMD FX 8350 @5GHz. Motherboard Asus Crosshair V Formula Z. RAM 8GB G.Skill Sniper. GPU Reference Sapphire Radeon R9 290X. Case Fractal Design Define XL R2. Storage Seagate Barracuda 1TB HDD and 120GB Kingston HyperX 3K. PSU XFX 850BEFX Pro 850W 80+ Gold. Cooler XSPC RayStorm

You should buy a safe for your $300.

An island. A small one.

The stone cannot know why the chisel cleaves it; the iron cannot know why the fire scorches it. When thy life is cleft and scorched, when death and despair leap at thee, beat not thy breast and curse thy evil fate, but thank the Builder for the trials that shape thee.

A new monitor? 1440p IPS?

That was also something I considered. Should I grab one of those Korean ones?

There was a Acer 1440p IPS 27 inch for 350$ a while ago. But I don't think it's still at that price. Give me a second.

If I was you I would grab a nice new monitor. I would stay away from an XB1 just now as I have a gut feeling they will release a cheaper kinect free version soon. So if you really want an XB1 hold off for a bit to see if they release one.

The promo is over it's back to 399.99$. I'd still go for this over a Korean one. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824009626&clickid=1FS1JfQ2bTIMQT3ULhTIQ1o4UkTV2fTJiw9GyE0&iradid=97618&ircid=2106&irpid=79301&nm_mc=AFC-IR&cm_mmc=AFC-IR-_-na-_-na-_-na

You system specs seem pretty good already, So I'd say what the others say and get a monitor if you need the upgrade otherwise you could always get something else you need.  I bought new laptop (old one was like 6-7 years old and on its way out), and I'm planning on buying a new top end for my Dirt Bike's engine with the remaining cash.

You have NO idea how much it annoys me that your 8-core is not at 5GHz, only 0.1 more :( I cry every night before I go to sleep....
