Acer Enduro I5 11th gen with intel Iris Xe

Hello I want to ask if I have a GPU such as GTX 1050 TI would I able to use it on my acer enduro Urban N3 i5 11th gen with intel iris xe to play game? If there is what is the cheapest solution as I dont have much in my budget

You can through enclosures that cost a lot, so practically speaking it's a no.

 

but iris xe shouldnt be that bad, if it is you should check your RAM usage, frequency and consider upgrading that instead.

Cinebench R15 Single thread:168 Multi-thread: 833 

SuperPi (v1.5 from Techpowerup, PI value output) 16K: 0.100s 1M: 8.255s 32M: 7m 45.93s

My ram is already 20 GB which I thought is Enough

16+4? So only 8GB of that is in dual channel speed, rest is single channel. memory speed have big impact on iGPU performance you know.

What do you mean by that 8 gb in dual channel, can u explain it?

dual channel means two memory channels work together in the same task, doubling the speed. Imagine having to carry something heavy with a friend helping you along.

 

But your 16+4 setup is like having a 5 year old try help you. He can carry your lunch and water bottle but there's only so much a 5 year old could do, so you quickly end up having to work alone. This is how dual channel stops working when one channel is full and you're back to single channel.
