Looking for software/app to force a shutdown on CPU or GPU high temps - I used Real Temp years ago but it hasn't been updated in 10-years

Euphoria
I used Real Temp years ago to do this but it hasn't been updated in nearly 10-years. You'd set a max temp something way above what you know your system will hit even under full synthetic load, and if your CPU or GPU hits that temp (like if a pump fails, leak...) it will auto trigger a shutdown.

Does anyone know of any alternatives, please?

P.S. I should add that I'm aware modern boards will shutdown if critical (damage to hardware) temps are hit but I want something to trigger long before that. i.e. If I know with my fans on quiet, max overclock, full synthetic load my temps will only hit 60c, then I want it to trigger at 65-70c as there's no reason other than a leak, blockage, or pump failure to cause that. So I want it to shutdown right away.

You can adjust those "critical" temps in BIOS. At least I can with my 8 year old BIOS, but I have no reason to believe that kind of feature has been cut from modern boards.

Speedfan used to have this feature, or atleast give warning. But it too is long dead and I'm not sure if the alternatives have anything like that.

No need for third party software for that kind of protection is build in the bios.

Anyway with any solution, if it's a leaking problem, when it's triggered, it's probably too late, as your mobo probably already soaking.
