Ad on Youtube using Linus in thumbnail?

Hey guys! New on the forums.

If this already has a topic created or something i apologise, same with the fact that English is not native to me :)

 

Is anyone else getting the Bitcoin ad with Linus's face on the thumbnail? I clicked it because i thought it was maybe an error on Youtubes side, maybe they made an Ltt video look like an ad on accident, Nope it real and has nothing to do with Ltt

I remember getting those ads when the adblocker wasn't working youtube for a few weeks... annoying as hell

Yeah, report these ads... Definitely a scam. Reminds me of that fake Mr Beast ad that was like "I'm giving everyone who visits this page $100" and the page was probably a download mirror for a Trojan or something.

The only option you really get with Youtube is that you don't want to see this ad again.

Seems weird to me that it has stayed up this long, but i hope it gets taken down soon.

but google won’t do anything about it, otherwise you wouldn’t get these ads 24/7

Yea i already did. Youtube wont do anything about it unless it gets blown up. 

It's a super small thing but it annoys me that so many thing can slip past Google/Youtube 

I mean it's Linus Freaking Tech Tips himself on the thumbnail, it should have been taken down 3 seconds after it came up.

There are a ton of those ads using stolen photos. Just because it's Linus' face doesn't make this one special.

unfortunately PiHole no longer works for youtube ads as they are served from the same CDN was the normal videos.

 

Vanced works on any android device, i don't believe it's available for iOS at all
