They are giving that as options to current owners, yes. You can also opt for a full refund, or to send the case back and have FD do the swap (It's not hard AT all, so I'd assume most users would elect to take the replacement unit once it's available)

On the other side, they don't want their customers to be potentially unknowingly buying a hazardous product. Better to freeze sales, fix the issue, and then resume. A real masterclass in how to respond to this kind of thing.

Am not going to applaud them for doing what was supposed to be done, but it'll add to their after service reputation.

Good Job Fractal, doing it how it should be done, faster than I would have expected.

 

My two cases have been Fractal and at this point maybe the third one will too.
