Xbox 360 frame rate

so I have noticed when playing games on my Xbox 360 the frame rate seems low I was wondering how can I fix this it used to be a good playable experience playing games like fallout 3 or elder scrolls but now it's just not playable at all sometimes but the games still look fine just the frame rate someone help please

Old consoles were 30fps and that was it.

If even. Some games ran at 60fps but those were few and far between.

Lots of games that ran way worse than that. Can't believe how poorly Oblivion ran when I got my 360 in 2006. Like 0 fps pauses for a couple of seconds at a time in the open world.

The 360 and PS3 didn't run games the best.  Back in the day it seemed fine and people were honestly used to it.  We had these cool new HD consoles, HD was finally mainstream, the whole 9 yards.  

 

But they didn't age the best.  That was the big "leap" from 7th gen to 8th gen.  The new consoles could consistently (or at least more consistently) hit 30fps and maintain it.

Currently focusing on my video game collection.

It doesn't matter what you play games on, just play good games you enjoy.

Hey, still better than Morrowind or HL2 on the OG Xbox. Though at least in HL2's defense, the fact that it even exists on the OG feels illegal.
