PC fully froze up and wouldn't allow me to shut it off.

So i was playing dead by daylight and all of a sudden i realized my audio cut off,and as soon as my audio cut off my screen completely froze and my keyboard RGB turned off. No buttons worked, nothing,i tried shutting the PC down from the button but still nothing until i flipped the switch on the PSU.What could have caused this? I also had this happen before like 8 months ago.

I think it would be a problem with the cpu or mobo.

Probably live it with it, but if it starts happening very often, then you might need to get a new mobo

If its only happened twice in 8 months I wouldn't worry about it. Given how uncommon it is its not worth the time solving.

Alternative view: The game's anticheat kernel level software is crap. If you encounter this issue only during playing the game thats the cause.

You know what the funny thing is? The last time this thing happend it actually happend on Rainbow Six Siege which uses EAC,the exact same anticheat as Dead By Daylight

Yup there you have it. I myself have experienced lockups only during playing one game with an anticheat, before that I've never had such a thing happen.
