What's the weirdest thing you've found in your computer?

Greencahrger

I then decided to look through the case window into my computer to find a cockroach the size of an American half-dollar coin...

Dude, what was your reaction? After seeing a hideous thing like that infecting your life's desire, AKA cockroach.

If I had a cockroach in my rig I would throw it out with the cockroach inside it and build a new one. I can't stand them

Humpty Dumpty was pushed.

Unlike all the guys here who only found boring old dust in their computers, I found a VERY interesting looking cloud of dust.

The stone cannot know why the chisel cleaves it; the iron cannot know why the fire scorches it. When thy life is cleft and scorched, when death and despair leap at thee, beat not thy breast and curse thy evil fate, but thank the Builder for the trials that shape thee.

So today while I was playing some BF4, my computer decided to randomly freeze... I then decided to look through the case window into my computer to find a cockroach the size of an American half-dollar coin...

After taking 30+ minutes to get the darn thing out, I asked my brother, "What's the weirdest thing you've found in your computer", with no response...

So,

What's the weirdest thing you've found in your computer?

About a year ago, i opened my old pc the first time. The processor(Athlon x2 7750BE) got 95°C and above, opened it and there was just an insane amount of dust its not even funny, after i just took of one layer of dust from the cpu cooler, it was 20-25°C idle and max. 40°C load.

I've not 'found' this, but I'm aware of several people that hide weed in their PC's

By the way, if anyone ever needs to stash things, the secret draw in the CM Storm Trooper is an amazing hiding place.

Fuck, he knows my secret...

I was removing a floppy drive once and while it was sitting on a table somebody knocked it over and it fell, the cover came off.

There was half a pen in there.

I found Linus, sitting in the corner crying over my cable management.

Weird, he wouldn't leave until I sorted it out.

Nothing to see here - move along.

Not my PC but in the PC of a client (old man), there was vicks vaporub in the CD disk drive, when asked as to why in the world he would put that there, he said it is so it would "slide" better. Needless to say, the reason he came in for repair was because his disk drive wasn't working.

You too?!

What a coincidence, I think I did to!!!

I found a whole ant nest in one of my computers. It was taking my doge food out of his dish. There were a lot of ants.

Good god no... this brings me back to the days I'd open up computers to fix them at my IT repair place and find a bunch of dead roaches or crickets or whatever the hell. It's such a disgusting task, having to remove all the dead filth in a computer... I prefer opening up the case and seeing everything caked with a pound of dust than having to clear our roaches and dead ants.... *cringe*

Lol, I lived in Hawaii once, there's just so many roaches there you just start to not care. Like once a month there was a night where the roaches would go crazy and fly around and I'd just stand in the living room with windex and blast like 15 (not even exaggerating). Bugs don't even bother me anymore, sometimes if I'm pretty sure a spider isn't poisonous I'll crush it with my bare hand.
