In an unprecedented $3.33 billion (USD) deal, Gabe Newell, CEO of Valve Corporation bought out all of the assets of Linus Tech Tips, a popular YouTube Tech channel from Linus Sebastian, ruler of the computer side of the internet.

 

The acquisition has reportedly been in the works for over a year, and both parties are reported as being "thrilled" that the deal went so smoothly.

 

The changes, seen here in the alpha form of the new tech website formerly found at http://www.linustechtips.com/main, are reported to go live in three days.

I know. The whole point is because of Half Life 3, there should be many threes. But, I may just change it.
