Will GPU prices return to normal(ish)

I really want a 20 series GPU, but they are so overpriced anyone have any ideas when the will drop back to $350ish?

Year, maybe two.

20 series GPUs won't drop in price if you're looking at new ones; they're not being produced anymore and vendors overcharge.

If you're looking at used, by the time it returns to normal you'll be able to get 30 series cards affordably.

Each time someone posts a thread asking this same question, normalization of prices gets farther away.

By the time the Nvidia 3000 and AMD 6000 Series GPU become cheap. Or I win the Lotto Jackpot.

Year or two and honestly, by that time 3000 series is getting into "used" territory market as new gpu comes out

Oh, Im getting my new build soon and i was going to rely on a iGPU for a month or 2 until the prices drop, I mean i only really play minecraft lol so i think im ok.

Go on Newegg and find yourself an old 8gb gpu that was made in 2012-2018

You're going to be waiting a lot longer than a month or two. Like I said. Likely at least a year.

1 or 2 months isn't going to do anything. Prices are not coming down any time soon. Your choices are ancient GPU's or pay extortion level pricing. This is not the time to build a PC. Sadly your almost better off buying a prebuilt as they can get parts.

For the foreseeable future, pricing is unlikely to come down meaningfully, and prebuilt PCs are still quite expensive. If you only want a system to game on, I recommend going console and not looking back.

Don't listen to this man and continue to pay a surprising amount for 6-8 year old GCN 1st Gen GPUs from my eBay store!  I'm saving that money for whatever a 'Post Deployment Honeymoon' would be called once my GF returns to Canada.
